Meet an old family friend who learns what it means to stand up for Jerry and his animated bear Spice during a time of trouble.

Can You Hear My Voice

Kim and Jerry use humour, rap, storytelling, songs and theatre to explore what it's like to step into another person's shoes.

 Their blend of original music and theatre takes the students on a journey exploring the issues of diversity, inclusion, ability, trust, violence, name-calling and conflict resolution. In one sketch, Kim and Jerry act out a nasty fight between two school-aged friends that seems hopeless until the schoolyard peacemakers come to their rescue. In other scenes, their wonderful and lovable characters Gertrude, Alphonse and Beulah add humour and heart.

Let's Help This Planet
Grades: JK-SK, 1-5

Serious issues can be approached in a lighted hearted and engaging and informative ways. Let's Help This Planet is a journey along rivers, into oceans, jungles and cities, through the rain forest and back home again. Kim and Jerry encourage audience participation with such songs as Boat Goes Down the River, Garbage No, No, No and Rainforest Rap. Their humorous characters Gertrude, Alphonse and Beulah and The Genius help find practical ways to be responsible earth keepers.

Veteran performers Kim and Jerry Brodey present a fun and engaging concert for young children and teachers. Original and well-known songs are grouped into categories such as Imagine This, Joyful Times & Thoughtful Times and Global Journeys & Discoveries so that even the youngest audience members can relate to both the music and the message. From cross-cultural connections to building and maintaining relationships to fun, curiosity and the imagination, this award-winning duo delights the children on this musical journey.
