![]() Together their range of accomplishments includes eight recordings, five touring stage productions, two video/films, numerous guest recordings, a wide range of supplementary teaching materials and many appearances on television and radio across the country. Their work has also been nominated for two Junos (1986's Family Pie and 1996's Like a Ripple on the Water) and a Parents Choice Award (1986's Family Pie). They have received a 1983 American Library Notable Recording Award and an Action For Children's Television Award for Responsible Programming. Jerry Brodey is a founder of Community Builders, a not-for-profit organization committed to "empowering young people, teachers and parents to be leaders in building safe and inclusive school communities." Community Builders is the recipient of a Canadian Race Relations Foundation Award of Distinction. Kim is an authorized Continuum Movement teacher. She is a passionate and animated facilitator leading Continuum Movement workshops in Europe and North America and has been on faculty at the Phoenix Rising Yoga and Movement Therapy School. Kim and Jerry are married, with a blended family. |
